This week, Bradford Interchange station was closed, with no trains for 4 days and only limited services between Leeds and the station for one. This was due to massive fire on nearby property that also caused several roads & local schools to be closed for several days. Obviously, due to the current Lockdown restrictions in place, the station being closed for most of the working week hasn’t caused as much disruption as it would have if everything was as it used to be before the ‘New Normal’.
Network Rail shared these pictures on the incident on their website this week to explain why the station was closed.
